Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This policy explains what information MarketerCore ("we", "us"), the company behind Game Bits HQ, collects when you use our games (Zoomies, Jar Jam, Twinsies, Popstorm, Pixloop, Hushaboo, Jumblox, Bloomfall, Chompany, Bandoodles) and this website, why, and the choices you have. We designed our games for all ages, so we collect as little as possible.
1. Who we are
Game Bits HQ is a brand of MarketerCore, which is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at support@gamebitshq.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Display name and avatar you choose in a game (no real name is needed; younger players can pick a generated name).
- Email address — only if you choose to save your progress, sign in, sign up for launch alerts, or contact support.
- Birth year — used once to apply age-appropriate settings. We store only whether a player is under 13, not the birth year.
- Messages you send in game chat or to our support team, and any reports you make about other players.
Information collected automatically
- Account and game data: a random account ID, progress, scores, purchases history, coins and settings.
- Device and diagnostics: device type, operating system, app version, language, crash logs and performance data.
- Gameplay events: for example "level completed", used in aggregate to improve the games. You can turn analytics off in Settings.
- Approximate region (country), derived from your connection, for rankings and legal compliance. We do not collect precise location.
- Advertising identifier (in games with ads), used by our ad partner as described below.
What we don't collect
We don't collect precise location, contacts, photos (games that use photos process them on your device), or your real name, and we never sell personal information.
3. How we use information
- To run the games: save and sync progress, deliver purchases, show rankings and enable multiplayer.
- To keep players safe and play fair: moderate chat, review reports, detect cheating and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To provide support and respond to your messages.
- To fix bugs and improve our games, using aggregated analytics.
- To send the emails you asked for (such as sign-in codes or a launch alert). We don't send marketing emails without your consent.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Children and families
Our games are designed to be enjoyed by all ages. When a player tells us they are under 13 (or the relevant age in their country):
- Chat is limited to Quick Chat — preset friendly phrases only.
- Ads are child-directed and non-personalised, and advertising identifiers are not used for personalisation.
- We do not knowingly ask children for more personal information than needed to play; email sign-in may be unavailable for younger players, who can use transfer codes instead.
- Parents can set a PIN to turn off purchases, online play and chat, and to limit daily play time.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact support@gamebitshq.com and we will delete it.
5. Sharing information
We share information only with service providers who help us run the games, under contracts that limit how they use it:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosting, databases and email delivery |
| Google Play | App distribution and payment processing |
| RevenueCat | Verifying in-app purchases and subscriptions |
| Google AdMob | Showing ads in games that include them |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging | Push notifications you opt in to |
Other players can see your display name, avatar, badges, scores and chat messages. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect players' safety, or as part of a business transfer (with notice to you).
6. Advertising
Some games show ads through Google AdMob. Personalised ads are off by default; you can change this in each game's Settings → Privacy. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Players under 13 always get non-personalised, child-directed ads. Learn more in Google's advertising policy.
7. How long we keep information
- Account and game data: while your account is active; deleted when you delete your account.
- Support messages: up to 2 years, so we can follow up on issues.
- Diagnostics and analytics events: up to 13 months, then deleted or fully anonymised.
- Purchase records: as long as required for tax and accounting law.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can:
- Delete your account in any game: Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Export your data in Settings → Account, or ask us at support@gamebitshq.com.
- Turn off analytics, personalised ads and notifications in Settings.
We will respond within the time required by law (usually 30 days). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, access controls, and monitoring to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we also minimise what we collect in the first place.
10. International transfers
Our servers are in the United States. Where information is transferred from other regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. This website
gamebitshq.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you use a form or the support chat, we receive what you type (such as your email and message) to answer you or send the launch alert you asked for. See our Cookie notice.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our games change. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you in the game.
